preparation	with 4-oxoperidinone hydrochloride and ethyl diazoacetate as starting materials, 5-oxoazacycloheptane-1-carboxylic acid ethyl ester was prepared by ring-expanding reaction and used directly in the next step without purification. The target compound 1-boc-5-oxoazepane-ethyl formate was then prepared by condensation reaction with di-tert-butyl dicarbonate under basic conditions.
